Hey guys, I have a 05 night train and am currently running the stock dimensions for the rear wheel/rim. I'm running a 21 inch front wheel and am thinking about changing up the back rim and wheel. I was just wondering would a 18x4.25 rim and a 160/60x18 rear rim and tire fit this bike without any modifications? I've been doing a little research and have been finding mix reviews on the web about it. Any help is appreciated
I have an 18inch rear rim on my 05 night train. I ordered it when I got the custom wheels. The wheel company told me what could fit in there.
I love the look of the 18, it doesn't raise the rear end at all, if anything its a bigger wheel so it stuffs the wheel up in the fender a little more so the bike looks a little more lowered. I also have a 1 inch drop with my progressive 422s.
170-18 on that rim bolts on in Metzlers. Dunlops and a few others are at touch smaller.
Hey Pat you must be feeling better, see you on here a lot lately.

The 18 inch rim looks so much better, what size tire in the rear did you use? Also when you have a passenger on the back can you feel any rub from the bigger rim/tire?
