Planning on ordering the fuel moto micro efi tuner instead of the dealer download.
Anyone using this? I was wondering about what is involved in installing it.
Will not go pass the aftermarket exhaust and stage 1 air cleaner so I think this would be all I need.
On my 07 FLSTC I'm using the FM micro Tuner, Vance and Hines big shots long, and Arlen ness big sucker. The install of the tuner isn't bad but I'd recommend pulling the tank to do it properly. I tried doing it without removing the tank due to laziness, ended up pulling up to hard on it and snapped the fuel line quick connect fitting and spilled fuel everywhere.
overall I'm pretty happy with the set up and would recommend it. If you're never going to do cams or anything then it will be good. plus, their service and support is outstanding.
