X2 it looks like you could have more leg room. My Dyna came with a solo seat and it sits back farther than my Softail with a 2 up. Your seat almost looks like a reduced reach version? I would try another seat for sure. Maybe a set of highway pegs if you are taller than 6 feet.
I'm 6'4 I've got 3 inch forward extensions which helped a lot. I also found a good deal on a corbin hollywood that moved me back 2 to 3 inches and man is it awesome. Gonna send my badlander to mean city cycles for a double decker mod for 2 up riding with 3 inch move back.
From what I have read the bike from HD with the most leg room is the Dyna Wide Glide. Will say I was considering one and the too far reach to the pegs and foot controls (for me) made me not pick it.
Unless you only ride in a straight line, you will not be happy with the (almost non-existent) lean angle of the Softail.
That is surprising. I will admit I don't know nearly enough about HD's full line of cycles; Lean angle is most def something that never entered my mind. I wonder if trading out the floorboards for Pegs would help?
I have an appointment tomorrow to test ride the Fat Boy and the Softail Deluxe so hopefully that will help me decide.
Thanks again for all the help folks. It truly is appreciated !
