First time back since 2008. Well, not really. I've been here off and on just never logged in. This is the first time I've actually logged in since 2008! I've had several bikes between then and now but I thought I'd get back on here and show off my latest. I've wanted one of these since they first came out but I just couldn't get myself away from the touring bikes, until 2 days ago! Already got her pretty tricked out and plan to do a little more in the next couple weeks.
Coming from the touring line (and even some metric touring bikes) I was a little nervous about the ride but I'm big time impressed. I notice only a slight difference in the ride, except for the wind of course.
Took my first ride to work this morning. Coming from the touring line I'm not used to the 70+ mph wind on my body but it really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. The worst wasn't the wind itself but the wind noise. My ears are still ringing and it's been a few hours. I'm switching from my half helmet to my open face helmet to prevent that in the future. I love the bike though!

Try a set of cheap ear plugs like ace or Home Depot sells, world of difference.
