Default Springer seats
Will any model Springer seat fit a Deluxe? I've found 2 different seat pans. Perhaps they changed around 2000. Will either one fit a Deluxe? Thanks.

I have a springer seat on my 06 Deluxe because I have a springer backrest on my bike to match. I'm not sure what year bike it came off of though, it came with the bike when I bought it and I then found a backrest for it. You have to have a springer rail in order for the back rest to work, Harley backrest that is.

I would go with the cross bones spring seat setup. It has an ecu cover and clears the oem battery. Otherwise you will be doing a lot of shifting around to make things fit

I am guessing that you are referring to the heritage springer seats? If so they all fit the difference is that I think around 2000 they dropped the fringe on them. I have one that i think is from a 2002 and love it. I also had the pro pad gel insert installed in it. Most comfy motorcycle seat I have ever owned.

Yes I'm meaning the Springer Softail seats.
Late 90's seat pan.



2000's seat pan.



Will either of these fit a Softail Deluxe? Thanks.

If you can find one of those heritage springer seats, don't mount it. Sell it and have 2 custom seats built that replicate it. Those springer seats are worth their weight in gold!
