Default right blinker problem

I have a 98 fatboy that has mirrors with front led blinkers in them and an aftermarket tombstone taillight with directionals with incandescent bulbs. My problem is the right blinker does not blink. Front, rear and dash light stay constant when using the right turn switch. If I use the flashers all lights blink so I don't think it is the module but correct me if I am wrong. What should I check? Directionals are not used as running lights.

Ok, I bought a new LED taillight w/directionals, all LED. Now all my blinkers stay on constant when I switch on just one blinker. (left and right). If I put on the flashers they work correctly. Will a load equalizer solve this? I thought they would flash fast if it was a load equalizer problem.

The LEDs aren't drawing enough current to make the flasher work. That's why you need a load equalizer.

Thank you, could you explain why the 4way flashers work?

have you checked to see if you have a crack in the lens? sometimes the fluid leaks out and they stop working

seriously, you need a load equalizer
