I know someone was asking how it looked in another thread. This is the one I got from that Japanese website. Overall I like the look. It's to big for Michigan plates so I'll need to redrill those, but an alright alternative. Also guys with the custom dynamics fender light.
One more shot with the license plate mounted
And it fits with the Dunlop 250s

There is a slight functional component to it. I had the axle mount plate for a few months, but in the process of adding quick release bags to have the long trip storage. Wouldn't fit with that mount. Though this does flush up to the flat cd light nicely.
I think his was from a Australian company. 500$ without any lights if I remember correct.
That's right. Its called a ChopZ fender fix out of Australia. $520 bucks on my credit card shipped to Minnesota. Took me about 6 months to pull the trigger because of the price. But after talking to a local fabricator and getting tired of hitting my knee on the OEM mount I bought it. A little pricey but there is good reason for the price. Note that I have zero mechanical ability so doing this myself was out of the question and when I understood the moderate amount of engineering required to do this right, I said screw it and bought it. My plate has an LED to light up the plate at night, no turn signal built in but that is another option for more money. High quality and mounts using existing OEM hardware. Last note, my experience was the company was super responsive and helpful. Love the mount and you do not see too many around these parts...
