Mohawk Valley Sunset

Home to CNY for a funeral and decided to ride the breakout in from Michigan. I forgot how awesome the roads are around here and the views.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I extend my thoughts and prayers.

I grew up on Long Island and spent 8 years in Ithaca. I love upstate NY. Autumn is my favorite season there for the views. Many excellent roads to ride as well.

Funerals are nobody's idea of fun, but a good ride takes the edge off the situation. I take it you're in the L.P., not the U.P. You might try the roads around the U.P., say from Houghton to Copper Harbor via the back roads - pretty twisty with lots of good views - just don't drink the water.
