Default Front fender Removal??

has anyone done this? does the front fender provide any protection? if you have any advice i would like to hear it. of course the only time i have seen a bike without a front fender is in magazineson show bikes. i'm just wondering if i take it off is there anything i need to worry about?

well, yes those bikes do look good without their front fenders, and i hate the stock one anyway(looks as high as a dirt bike front fender). i guess those kind of bikes are better left for magazines and shows.

haha..of course nothing else either.. tomorrow Ill have chrome sliders on it and tops
almost done too, just need to seat the new seals and put the snap locks on...and the other stuff

I'm a big fan of the look..but i've never taken mine off of my bike and ran it like that. I did take it off one night just to look at it like that, and in my opinion it looked pretty sweet...so I may take it off and run it like that for a few days to see if I like it, soon. Anyway, here is a picture of Scooter1369's bike with the front fender off...it'll give you an idea of what it looks like.

I love the way my bike looks without a front fender, everyone that looks at the bike comments on how old school it looks. However, if I ride across any type of moisture on the road, even just a little off of landscaping sprinklers, the water runs straight up the front the front ofthe bike, and into my face. I have to clean up the front of the bike including the front cylinder. The fender is very easy to take off and I cut down a front fender that I got off of Ebay for $35.00 just to put on when I travel. I want to keep the original front fender untouched.

that is one hot bike you got there spooner. thanks for the advice. i'd be soaked if i rode my bike to work without a fender. the air station has sprinklers going nonstop.
