2007 = 07 Softail 53000 miles. excellent shape. Runs excellent. Custom paint, new Dunlop's, Mustang seat, Memphis shades windshield, Vance & Hines exhaust, screaming eagle stage 2. 2002 = Very clean bike, runs better than new. too much chrome. Pink in hand, must see. Lowered, 2 seats and back bars, well cared for and FAST 95",cams,carb
Best bet is to look at nadaguide and kbb blue book prices for your area. For stage II "kit" I'd want receipts and proof, preferably with pro install. Seen some very shady installs. When you start getting up above 40000 miles you're in territory where it devalues some. I'd also want documentation of the condition of the twin cam tensioners (even in those years) or else would have to err lower.
For all the bikes mentioned - if any of the bikes I've seen are an indication - they owners think they have the crown jewels, but I haven't seen a crown jewel yet. Nothing bad - but nothing to get at any cost.
Shot saddlebacks can be very often be revived with a good washing with saddle soap followed by a good dose of leather conditioner/protector.
guess it boils down to "do you like it'. Both good looking bikes to me and the price doesn't look too bad. I would have someone pop the cam cover that knows what they're doing. If the pads haven't been replaced already they're due and would be a good time to upgrade to hyd tensioners if you plan on keeping it for awhile. Be good to see some verification of upgrades and by whom. Do you have a knowledgeable friend that can ck things out besides us?
have no probllem taking it apart and putting it back together. would need to know what im looking at. know what hyd tensioners are, had a Porsche / 911, had hyd then manual. whats the cost for upgrading to hyd tensioners.
prices vary by market. that 02 with a 95" kit sounds like my kind of bike but I'd be shooting for $6K. Used bike deals vary so much....It's worth what he can get for it an it's a good deal if you're happy with the bike an the price you paid. I sold my V rod for less than I said I'd take because he had cash standing right in front of me. Glad I did because I didn't get another hit on selling it. You can also go on ebay an go to advanced search an look for completed auctions to see what similar bikes are going for.
