I'm not sure. I haven't touched it after being on for a bit.

Chaselee.. i imagine that since it is LED it does not get as hot as halogen..

I wonder if they make versions for the bigger headlights like the Fatboys.

Thanks!.

I have the cheap Chinese LED 7" headlight and passing lights on my FatBoy and my Yamaha Venture. Cost around $150 a set. They work great and have had no problems with them. Had to adjust them down on each bike, they aim higher. Rarely need high beams and even in daylight they light up road signs. Both bikes are totally LED lights, headlight, passing lights, turn signals and modulating brake lights. Best bike related investment I've made. Just make sure to get the Projection Led Headlight.

hey LMP thanks for the info.. do you happen to have a link for the one you bought? I did a search on Amazon.. and there are a few 7 inch "Projection / Projector" headlights... also.. did you have to buy a mounting ring to adapt it to your bike? Thanks!

Need to clarify, been about a year ago when I bought them. The first set I bought was from a Chinese company and they sent the wrong one. Price was around $150 but customer service was lousy and finally got them returned and a refund after 3 months.

So I ended up buying from Hogworkz. More expensive, a little over $300 for the set of 7" headlight and passing lights, but still cheaper than the daymaker or other brands. I have a 2005 FatBoy so I ordered the mounting ring bracket but did not have to use it. They have both 5 3/4" and 7" headlights, passing light and full sets in black or chrome.
