Default 21" wheel on Crossbones

I recently installed a 21" wheel on my crossbones and noticed that the wheel isn't lined up center in between the front springer legs. It rides fine, just was wondering if anyone else had the same issue. Thanks!

Well my first impulse would be to ask if you are sure you put the spacers back in the correct place but if your brakes are working properly it must be right? I know that would kind of bug me, is there anyway you can shim things in order to make it look better, even if it means putting spacers on the brake rotor?

Springer hubs have a slightly different offset. If you used a non springer 21" wheel you get the results you have. The 21" on my Heritage Springer is as you describe. That bike tracks straighter than any other in my shed.

It's looks only. I learned to live with it.

Hey thanks all for all the input. I went to a buddy's shop he had two heritage springers both are slightly offset. Its just noticeable because of the smaller width.

The wheel is offset because the weight of the engine is not in the center of the bike. look at the mounting boss on each fork. You will see that the brake side is shorter than the other side. It corrects the balance of the bike.
