Default Herritage saddlebags question

Some of you may have seen the thread that I posted on my wife's Christmas bike. If not we picked up an 09 Herritage.

I was pretty sure it had the frame and the lid stiffener in the bags, but apparently I was incorrect. Was either a different bike we looked at, or the dealer removed them before we signed. - anyhow, as of now the bags are in great condition, but I fear they will start to droop and sag.

Since we have an empty nest now, we have been riding much longer distances, and we got this bike so she will be able to ride in more comfort than her small Suzuki.

Anyhow, we will most likely have the occasional get caught in heavy rains, and I would like make sure the bags stay looking good.

I found that HD has a kit that includes a lock (which I like), but I have seen a few other aftermarket kits too. Those being got saggy bags & Paps bags.

Just looking for some feedback on the best way to go with this, as all of them have similar pricing, and all seem to get good reviews.

Also thought about making my own, as there is not much to these.

Thoughts?

Steeler, I just had my Heritage bags done by Boss Bags. Cost me $450 including beefier straps. I had to have the new lids. Check out their website. I couldn't be happier with mine, very satisfied. They include locks too.

My heritage is a 2014. I had boss bags install their stiffener kit, with the better straps and return shipping its $305. And WORTH IT!!!!! A friend I ride with is now getting ready to send his bags in , because he has seen how good my bags are. You wont be sorry!!!!!
PS The stiffener kit includes locks

I've installed "gotsaggybags".
The install was easy, the cost was easy, the results are no sag.

As for locking them up; I've considered adding locks but I've never remotely had any issues so I figure what's the point.
If I was to put in locks, it would likely be Stealth Talon.
