2001 softail deuce, need some direction on where to mount my compressor on my bike. Kit recommends mounting it above the shocks but every configuration i try it makes contact either all the way up or down.

What air ride kit did you buy? That may help someone give you some advice.

 

Yup was a deuce. Its a dirty air kit

 

I found their site, but don't even see anything listed for Softails. :shrug:

 

To keep it out of site you just might have to mount it in one of the side bags. We have the Shotgun system on our bike and JD and Jessica installed it. The Compressor goes above the shock installation and below the swing arm mount.

 

Those cheap air systems have you mount the compressor to the swingarm pivot with 2 big hose clamps on softails....
