Mobil 1 V-twin or Amsoil 20W-50 without a doubt. You may have to take it to them because if you just say synthetic, they'll put Syn3 in the bike. The other products are better.

I have heard really good things about the Royal Purple brand of Synthetic oil for motorcyles... called "Max-Cycle". I have enclosed a link.

I use Amsoil 20w50 in all three holes. Bike runs so much cooler.

I run HD Syn 3 in mine, it seems to work just fine.

get regular oil from the stealership, go home and change it out to synthetic... I do AMSoil 20w-50 in engine and primary and 75w-90 Gear Oil (AMSoil) in the trans. But like moble1 Vtwin and Redline Gear oil will do...

ehh if u can find AMSoil or order it, then ur good to go.

Change to synthetic, only because it can handle heat better.

But for the love of god, lets not get into the Syn3 vs Amsol Vs mobil 1 thing yet again, because none of these oils will hurt your motor if changed at reg intervals.

Trany use a good gear oil if you want smoother shifting, primary oil that is recomended.
