I do still have it. I'm 40 this year, and I still don't have time to ride it like I want to. I've got two kids at home though, and soon enough they'll be spending more time with their friends.
The only consistent problem I've had is the Electronic Speed Sensor. I've had to replace it three times and I'm at 27,000 miles.

I rode this bike with my grandfather, so I'll never get rid of it. He rode all the way up until a month before he died in 2010 at age 80.

His dad (my great grandpa) had a Harley shop here in town back in the 1930's.

I miss my old 2005 Springer sometimes!

Nice to hear that you still have it and I understand why you'll never get rid of it. I like old pics, thanks that's a cool one.

Thanks and I can see why you miss her, she looks great. I really like the looks of the fishtails, I had thought about doing that to mine sometime.

Sampson Fishtails have a really cool raspy noise to them, along with some torque cones added.

I'm not sure if they even still makes those Fishtails.

Great photo! The background is the perfect backdrop. Your bike is the perfect foreground for it. Amazing bike and picture.
