lets see who can figure out what problem i had with my bike...............
1) bike was very jerky at low cruising speeds (20-40 MPH)
2) bike felt slightly low on power
3) had a hard time taking slow tight turns- in short i looked like a rookie all over again
4) when i would get on it it would jump out of gear once in a blue moon
i fixed the problem tonight
based upon these symtpoms, lets see who could figure out the first place they would look
I believe that the first two you listed are thetrue 'causal'problem's the second twoare what happens because of them, so they aren't truely relevant.
So the first thing I would check would be theplugs for fouling and the plug wires for a loose connection or a weak coil. I don't know if your bikehas FI or a carb so I don't have a clue where to go without further info.

primary chain was WAYYYYYY loose
Odd, I thought of that, when you said 'jerky, and popping out of gear' it fit.
But I never would have associated a loose chain with being 'down on power'.
Gonna have to remember that one.
