I see a center stand for the Softail listed in the 2016 HD catalog but nothing in the 2017 book. It's not on the HD website either. I have a 2017. Heritage and would like to have one. Anyone know of a solution?
Just wondering; what's the reason for wanting this?
The part number is 98959-08 and is still listed as an available part over here (albeit considerably more expensive than your price at Ł285:41). I can think of several reasons: Maintenance, tyre change, stability and ease of cleaning to name a few. Especially considering the weight of these machines.

Still wondering the reasoning here. "Maintenance, tyre change, stability and ease of cleaning" can be more easily be performed with a simple floor jack.
Any way to each his own, I've spent a lot of money on my Heritage that others probably don't understand the reasoning either.
I could see the appeal. My scoot is parked in the garage between my John Deere and my daughter's bike and wife's bike. My wife's car takes the other half of the garage. (my truck get's relegated outside).
Being able to park the bike with it standing up straight would be a lot easier for clearance on the sides than it being parked leaning to the left.

They always were stock on the older Harleys also the hinged rear fender for tire changes on the road

I have a big garage, but there is never enough room it seems. Having my bike sit upright maximizes space, makes it easier to clean the bike, etc. sure a floor jack does the job but takes up more room, then you have to store it when not in use.

Amen to that - half of my stuff in the garage is hanging from the ceiling, in shelves, drawers, closets and i'm still struggling to find room for my cleaning supplies, yard equipment and the one-off gallon of paint.
I guess it's decided then - I need a bigger garage.

Yup, so do I...LOL 2 car garage is stuffed, one 12x16 yard barn and 2 small barns. I have stuff sitting outside that should be inside, I also need a bigger garage. It never ends.

Years ago I bought my Harley a 10'X10' shed and insulated & heated it.
Keeping a motorcycle in the same garage with a vehicle that tracks in salt is bad!!!
