If the gauge is accurate I would put an oil cooler on. My Low Rider never gets above 220Âş since I put a billet cooler on.
I will get up to 230 in parade traffic on my 05 train with the temps in the low 90'sI run the Harley cooler 95" with 10.25 compression. Running down the road it runs 190-200 range. If I run long spells at 85 or higher it will go to 210. I use the Harley dipstick guage that I've checked several times with a digital therm and it is pretty much spot on with the temps. Also use the H-D 20/50 dino oil.
