Smile Cylinder Head Torque Setting

Hi Everyone,

I'll be installing a new exhaust system on my 2016 Slim S but don't have the shop manual yet and not sure what the require torque settings are for tightening the pipes to the cylinder heads. Could someone let me know.

thanks.

Appreciate the help.

IMO...
The torque spec listed in the manual is meant for stock exhaust and a stock type conical gasket. If you are using an exhaust with a different flange and especially if you are using a different type gasket the spec is useless.
I have always went by feel on exhaust with cars and bikes and have had no issues for three+ decades.

FLS103 is correct. You're probably ok to to just snug the nuts down, but be sure to check and retighten at least twice after running through a few heat cycles.

Torque specs on my '06 softail are:100-120 inch pounds. Inch, not foot.
