Default == Siren for HD Security ==

I have a 2006 Fatboy, and it does have factory security, with Key Fob and push button on the Fob. I know how to arm and disarm it, but wanted to install a Radio Shack Siren. I've done many of these Siren's on Touring Models, but I'll be dam if I can find the connector on my Fatboy. I did a search and found allot of Posts on this, and most say it's behind the rear tire splash shield, or under the seat. I spent a few hours this morning trying to find it, removing rear tire splash shield and seat, and I could not find it anywhere.

Thanks in advance,
Dom

Your 2006 Softail Service Manual should detail its exact location. You do have a Service manual?

I'm so sorry guys, I'm an idiot, I found it, please disregard this.
I don't have a manual yet, just bought the bike a few weeks ago.

Thanks

I didn't realize you could go Radio Shack. That has to be a helluva lot cheaper than HD. Do you have a link to the Radio Shack siren you're referring to?

You may find previous threads regarding the Radio Shack siren helpful.

Works well. I bought two just in case and I'm glad I did cause the first one died within a year. The second one has been fine for several years.
Btw you can wire two in for more noise :-)

The two that I have were on my 2012 Electra Glide Classic for 3 years. They are now both on my Fat Boy and both still working just fine. My 2014 Limited has the HD Siren ($$$) on it.
