Default thinner Primary Cover

Do the 2016 -2017 Softails have a thinner primary cover and does it stick out a far as the older models?

The only bikes that have the narrower primary are the Low models in the Touring line-up.

Never had a problem straddling the primary on the Softail. the seat is lower and the derby is farther back than on the touring bikes due to the longer primary on the Softail. My leg always falls forward of the derby.

Wrong became standard in 2016 on all Touring bikes.

Smitty is right. Smaller profile primary started with all 2016 Touring.

The M8's have a 2 inch narrower primary due to the thinner inner primary.

My 16 RG CVO Ultra, 14 Road King and 12 RG CVO all have identical primaries.
