Default Leather Pros for my FXST

I just finished installing the Leather Pros on my Standard. As advertised by the company, I didn't have to relocate the rear turn signals. I received two sets of bolts for use in mounting the bags. The 2 1/4" were too short, only grabbing a couple threads. The 2 3/4" were too long, with plenty of bolt extending beyond the nut. I was afraid the tire might get punctured if I bottomed out. I ended up cutting the 2 3/4" down to a little below 2 1/2". I'm very pleased with the fit. Now it's a matter of waiting for the weather to clear (predicting over 12" of snow in Central Pennsylvania starting tomorrow). I can't wait for some long rides.

I attached three pic's. One is of the two "buttons" to hold the bag. The second is a shot looking up under the fender, showing only about a thread protruding from the nut. The last pic is a little hard to see, but shows the bag's mounting bracket attached to the "button". Mounting and removing the bags are very easy.

Nice pic of your bike. Late last fall my wife and I got our first bike in over 21 years. We're looking forward to the start of the riding season. Right now, I'm spending the winter getting it ready.
