not to offend but you need a webmaster that's 1/2 as good as your fab work.
a little more detail for the aspiring installer might be good too.
they do look very cool though and something I and a bro with a night train would be interested in. actually... my bro with the night train put on inverted forks and his lights mount up all kinds of awkward. he'd be very interested... but definitely would like to see more detail before purchase.
I would assume these would work on a 15 Fatboy Lo?
These particular levers wont....for some reason harley changed the softail levers in 15. I am starting to do other models and levers now tho. I will keep you posted
From the website - "These levers do away with the running lights and make them turn signals only unless you do some additional wiring. Some older model may require load resistors in order for the led turn signals to work properly."
So here's my question: If the current from signal lights currently function as running lights also, why wouldn't these?

Harley has 3 wires running to the stock turn signals, and i believe has a dual filament bulb. These leds have 2 wires. So in order to run running lights you would have to hook up both the running and turn wire to the hot wire of the led but also have to have diodes to prevent back feeding. Some older models also need a load resistor. My 12 did not. I just wired them as turns and it was almost as easy as running speaker wire

There's my answer. Thank you. I've got LED inserts, but they're the type with the 1157 base on the front to plug & play. The rear turn signals also function as run & brake lights with the Custom Dynamics module, but they only have the 1156 (single element if using incandescent) base. Even with the incandescent they still function as run/turn and brake.
Our bikes are 2001, 2002 and 2005 so all have the load balancers. As you state, the new bikes generally don't need them. I had a 14 Street Glide that did not need the balancers when I added LEDs to the turn signals.
