They make smoke colored lenses, but i never had a prob w the orange, I also got red ones in the back because i hav the run/turn/ brake light kit, can never be too seen!
captain jim,
I have the red in the back like bgismo.
I put the smoked in front.
I like the red and smoked MUCH better!
You mentioned Rinehart Muffs.
I got the eagle beak slip ons.
I've never seen anyone else with them.
I think they lookAND sound great!!
A couple of suggestions for the turn signals. If you plan to add the running lights on the front then you can move them down under the lights. Or buy the light bar and put just the turn signals on them. I saw an '06 with smoked bullets the other day like that and it didn't look bad.
There is also out now the mirrors with the turn signal light bar in LED that is mounted into the base of the mirrors. I thought they were available through Kuryakyn but not sure.
Jim, whyd you switch out the seat? I find the stock seat to be very comfortable & its looks good too!
Also what have you powder coated? I really want to poder coat the springer to make it look more old school, but im sure that I wont lol.
The stock seat was ok,not a comfort issue, though the mustang is a little better in that area.
The mustang follows the flow of the bike better, less obtrusive, doesnt hand down on the sides as much.
