I was going to lower mine until I realized that it would affect the cornering to much. And I was bottoming out way to often. I love the twisties. So I ended up getting the 422s W/RAP. When I installed them I cheated a little and actually raised it up about 3/4" above stock. I also put in the Progressive mono shocks in the front. Now I have a comfortable ride and I can surprise a lot of people in the corners. Absolutely no regrets.

I don't regret lowering but I do regret that my shotgun shock didn't work the first two times and JD and I couldn't see eye to eye on the problem, so now I have 422's with RAP. I'm still gonna give the SS another try some day "cause the ten minutes it did work was night and day to any other shock I've had.

The Lo was pre -lowered...Can't lower it anymore and expect to actually ride it.

The only thing I have ever scraped were the boards. First time scared the crap out of me, after that I loved the way the sparks fly. Plus they are my warning that I need to slow down a tad. Just a tad...

I'm actually still a little mixed with a recently surfacing problem but I really like the 1" drop in the rear for a long time.

*edit: nvrmnd. was going off topic a bit. I'll make a thread.

Did the same on my 2k Heritage but left the rear stock height. Absolutely love it!

I lowered the front of my bike over the winter. I did a 2" drop using progressive drop ins. I have only ridden it a few times and those have been local, quick runs. So far, the ride is good, no problems at all. With my tire and wheel combo, lowering the front just leveled the bike. So, I'm debating on lowering the rear or not. I'm kind of liking the height as she stands right now.
