i struck a problem yesterday woth my bike ive never experienced in the years I've owned her, went to start it cranked kinda slow so I thought maybe I try roll her down the drive , nothing.
problem is after I tried roll starting it the whole system seemed to die, headlight works , nuetral light and power on light,as does horn and fuel pump and brake light, but instruments and dashface are blank,no indiators either, I press the start button and nothing, no starter click nothing, checked fuses, pulled main fuse checked battery and even tried jumper cables to my car but won't kick at all, I'm all outta clues any helpmuchly appreciated
That kinda sounds like the battery went south. You ought to first check the voltage. Should be about 12.5 when nit running. And if you're still not sure, go get it load tested. Just because the lights work doesn't mean the battery is any good..
