I bought a set for my Heritage a few months back. Love them. Easy to install and very bright.

I went with the DK Customs headlight and love it. I was going to order the passing lamp bulbs as well, but decided to go with the Custom Dynamics Halo passing since the auxiliary light kit from Harley doesn't come with the lenses and would have had to purchase them. A bit pricey at $349.00 but also have the triple play and all CD turn and tail lamp which are awesome!

I just installed a DAYMAKER on my 17 Softail Slim S. The bulb looks great, couldn't be happier with the light itself. The problem is the aluminum ring that goes over the HEADLIGHT and under the spring clip...it doesn't sit flush. It's as if the light is sticking out a 3/8 " too far. Has anyone else had this problem? Does Harley or any other company make a deeper ring?

I had a DK headlight bulb in mine for awhile but the annoying buzz from the bulb annoyed the .... out of me so. Hopefully yours doesn't do the same.

The photo below is the spread of just the DK Headlight Bulb, compared with the OEM Bulb. It is very nice. It is even better with the auxiliary/passing lights. I need to get out and take a photo of that also.

I like both the coverage and the coloring. Do they all buzz Like Fatken's, and is it really that noticeable?

They should not buzz at all. I think there must have been something loose in the bucket for it to buzz...if the actual bulb was buzzing, then it is defective and would be replaced under warranty.

They do have a cooling fan built into them, that sounds like a fan. It is very small, and can barely heard it with the engine OFF, with the engine running, even with stock exhaust, there is no way to be able to hear it.

So are you saying I am making it up? It could be heard plain as day when the bike was keyed up. Also when not wearing a helmet it could be heard at idle over top of my V&H big radius 2 into 2 pipes. Also nothing is loose in my headlight bucket. I would think that a company would appreciate a customer not complaining about there product screaming for Warranty. I simply replaced it and made note that the OP doesn't have the problem I did.

No, the furthest thing from it.

I am saying it is not normal. It should not buzz at all. You should definitely contact us via phone or email. You don't need to scream..., but just let us know that the light buzzes and we will take care of it for you.

To be able to hear anything with the engine on...something is drastically wrong...either with the light, or something in the bucket is loose.

To be clear, we expect our products to perform well, and if something does not perform as expected, we Want to hear about it so that we can take care of it.

The last thing we ever want is for someone to purchase something from us and then be unhappy with it.
