Default Stalling problem

having trouble with my breakout stalling when idle. It mostly happens when I downshift...Especially coming up to a stop and sometimes while sitting at a light. I remember this happening once when I first got the bike 2 years ago, but not since. I have big radius 2 in 2 pipes, put a fp3 on it last year, and just this year threw on a burst collection performance air cleaner. The only error code on the fp3 is "b2206: engine run / start switch open / shorted high". But that's not something I believe would cause this. Any thoughts?

Also tried swapping the map to stock and through 2 other setups with no change.

That code/cause sounds like it may be your problem. The ignition switch on the tank may be going bad. If you can wiggle it while it's running and the bike quits, you'll know for sure. I replaced mine a couple of years ago for a similar reason. I could just bump the switch while riding and it would shut down. Knowing that, I'd just wiggle the switch while still rolling and it would start back up..

Breakouts don't have switches on the tank. Just the side and the handlebars. Unless I'm misreading what you're thinking.

To add in, Seems to be mostly affected when the engines been ruining. But idles fine if the bikes been sitting for a while.

I had this symptom a couple/few years ago on my Heritage, and it was cleared up by spraying out the little hole in the top of the throttle body with some seafoam. Described in this thread: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...g-at-idle.html

Thanks for the insight. Essentially I just need pull off the air cleaner and clean out the throttle body from what I'm gathering?

Yep, that's it. You should see a small hole in the top inner surface. Give that a good shot.

One last question (sorry I never do a lot with engine insides). Is this something I'm going to need to work out by removing some build-up or residue? Or is the seafoam a fire and forget kinda treatment?

It's a fire and forget kind of treatment. ...I had a lone stall at idle coming to a stop light the other day, probably time to shoot mine too.
