Default O2 Sensor Adapters

I have 2016 Slim, running VO2 Stage 1, Original Straight Shots (Full System), and FUELPAK3. V&H stopped making the straight shot full system for 2012 and later models. The only difference is the O2 Sensor fits a 18mm not the 12mm on the newer models. It was recommended to use the Bassani O2 Sensor adapters. I did. Everything screwed in and came together very well. The physical difference that I noticed on the stock exhaust and the new exhaust was the location of where the O2 Sensor screws in. Techs from HD Dealership that I spoke too seemed to think that it shouldn't be a problem. I used the map recommended by V&H along with currently still Autotuning to dial it in as close as possible. So far, it runs great and everything seems to be functioning perfectly. I love how it sounds, how it feels, how it runs! Just thought I would ask the question. Has anyone ever used the O2 Sensor Adapters before in a similar situation and what were your results?

Only used the adapters about a 1000 times, most systems these days come with 18mm bungs and adapters to fit a wider year range with only 1 part number!

I did notice that not only the location of where the O2 Sensor screwed into the new system was different, but also, on the new system the locations were raised a bit. On the stock system the bungs were almost flush with the plane of the exhaust. On the new ones, they were raised a bit. However, it seems as though everything is working perfectly. Thoughts?
