Brake pads
What is the suggested replacement for a 2003 FXST?
Not looking to brake the bank, but not looking to break my neck either.
Sintered vs. semi-sintered, vs organic. I have stock rotors and am not interested in changing them. What should I be getting?
Any brands, retailers, etc. would be great.
Also, are the front and rear pads the same. I haven't taken them off yet to compare and some sites list the same part number and some do not.
First time changing out the brakes on this thing.
Thanks in advance

Changed the OEM brake pads at 29K.
The rear was fine but the front were well worn.
I couldn't see changing out one without the other.
With a 9 year-29K mile lifespan and local availability I decided to stick with OEM.

I've been using Lyndall Z-Plus pads for over 10 years. They're a huge improvement over OEM in braking performance, and they produce very little dust. They're also reasonably priced.
Front and rear pads are the same on your bike.
Cheers!
