Yes the pads do emit a lot of brake dust.

I run Lindal Z pads and they seem better than OEM for stopping, wear and dust.

I haven't noticed the dirt part but I have noticed the loud squeeling coming out of the back brakes. It is very annoying.

I put a set of Lyndall Z+ pads on the rear of mine a week ago and got rid of the constant squealing. Will be replacing the front pads this weekend in the hopes of reducing the drag on the front wheel.....my front brakes currently drag so bad its hard to push it around in the garage and it is of course "normal" as far as the dealership is concerned....decided not to screw around anymore and just replace the pads myself..

Pads don't normally cause a brake drag problem. It could be that the piston(s) are in need of cleaning.
Here is a Piston Cleaning Procedure to try first or during the new pad install.

Troubleshooting brake drag:
Insufficient brake lever play.
Caliper piston worn or damaged.
Excessive brake fluid in reservoir.
