Wiring Question

I just added front and rear USB, along with wiring up an Innovv K1 camera system, also to a 2016 Softail. (In my case, this was a Heritage Softail Classic, though.)
There is an accessory plug under the seat. Mine was actually kinda buried under the cable bundle to the fusebox. It has a rubber plug on it, to protect it from moisture.
Buy this, $18, https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...on-upgrade-kit
If you have the six-pin Deutsch connector, that's the right splitter. Red is positive, black is negative and yellow, I believe, is "switched power". The camera system used al three, others used only red/black. If you use the red and black, however, the accessories won't turn off. I think you are supposed to use black (ground) and yellow. Fortunately, the USB I added has a switch so I can disable it there. I should have used black/yellow and had no issues. (For the camera, it uses the yellow to know if the ignition/acc is on, so it can shut off correctly. Perhaps someone could correct me on this.
Also, save the rubber plug to put into the end of the new adapter. And good luck finding space under that seat!
