My wife wanted em to buy a new '16 in this color scheme last Spring. She was really pushing me hard! If I had bought new, I have a feeling this would have been the one to go with. I really like the little bit of sparkle in the white!
I ended up buying two used bikes with super low mileage instead... But, it was a serious debate.
I'm curious on what he's charging you? Please feel free to post some pics in this thread, inquiring minds want to see[/QUOTE]
To answer the cost question, here's what Im having done
Stage 1 - V&H duals with fish tails, Power Commander (most recent one), big sucker - 1650ish
While its there.... Im having Rivco dual trumpet airhorns, LED strobes in the rear (forgive, I've become very paranoid after getting rear ended), proper set up of the rear shocks and some other small stuff.
Thank you for the invitation to post pix in your thread. I expect the bike back midweek of 6/19.
It's just one of those schemes that can cause a a bit of a misfire in the brain in some of us. Very pretty, can appreciate the style even... It looks absolutely great and yet somehow, it just doesn't belong. To me, it's like a pink Cadillac. I like seeing them, I just wouldn't ever drive one.
Now go out and ride it, just have frequent stops so you can stand back and admire it. :-)
Alex
LOL I have been I promise, stops and riding both

Congrats and ride safe!
Doubling up can't be bad. Did you get 2 softails?

Can't wait to see it. I've been looking into a power commander as well. Wanna get my air cleaner/filter and power commander at the same time. Looking at the one that tunes itself so when I ad something I don't have to take it to have it tuned.
