It's cheap enough to go ahead and do it and It's not like there's any wrenching involved.

I just need to see if there's any wiring changes that needs to be done on front or back to make the switchback work.

not sure what year bike you have or anything but on mine it was plug and play. 2014 heritage. Sometimes LEDs can cause hyper flash due to the fact they don't create a large load on the circuit. Sometimes a load resistor has to be wired in but on mine was no issues.

It's a 13 fatboy lo. It can take the LED's just fine without the resistor. It's the always on running light part of the switchback I'm unsure of.

I like the smoked lenses and was going to go that route with my Deluxe. I have the Black Pearl paint though and thought it would be too much of a good thing.

With this set up, the smoked lenses are a matter of practicality not aesthetics. You don't want amber running lights on all the time.
