I put my 06 night train on ebay.... it wont go past 3,000...kinda ridiculous. i have my reserve set at 16,000...thought that was reasonable. im hoping it gets up to at least 15,000 here soon, so someone will buy it for 16,000 when it ends monday night...why do people even bid if they want to get it for 3,000?you guys think16,000 too high for my bike?
My buddy was looking for an '06 Nighttrain so I started looking for him one since he doesn't get on the Internet. Found him a few with very low miles and in the $14,000 - $14,500 range. He ended up buying one from a hdforums member with 1,100 miles in perfect condition for $14,000. It was a black '06 also.
Looks like you have done alot to yours but sometimes its easier to sell one closer to stock. Its hard to find someone with the same tastes that you have and still willing to pay top dollar.
you gotta nice bike, but I think people on ebay are lookin for a deal. It's tough to charge people for what you put on the bike. I think stock is the way to go, not too many people buy a bike thats already customized. good luck, I hope you get what you want.
I don't want to hurt your feelings, but I wouldn't give you 12K for your bike.
It has nothing to do with you or your bike, but if I'm going to buy something used, I'm going to steal it..
You have to find the right person who will give you a fair amount, and it isn't someone like me, and they usually aren't surfing EBAY....
I'm a dago and can't help it.
I would try your local market first.
If I were you, I would seriously considerre-installing the stock tail light assembly and handlebars, and re-submitting the sales photos....
JMO.
I am not interested in the bike (sorry in the process of buying a 07), but I was wondering how much louder those pipes are with the big city baffles in them???
You may be affected by the motor/trany upgrading for '07 also. I was prepared to buy a'05-'06 night train, and would have spent 16,000 for one well equiped like yours. However, I just couldn't get my self to do it when I found out about the motor and trany updates. It's just one of those things you can't (with in reason) change later. So I spent several thousand more to get the latest and greatest.
