X Bbines ( front break )...
lever comes too far back for my liking. Thinking that there may be air in the line.
Or is this just a normal function of a one pot caliper?
Any thoughts or suggestions on how to improve lever feel and increase stopping potential is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
The single piston caliper on the XBones should not affect lever feel compared to any other softail. You may need to bleed the system if your front brake is mushy.
Look up forum member RIPbiker. He started the Calling All Springers thread I believe. He replaced his front caliper with a multi piston setup from Performance Machine and claims that it is a huge improvement over stock. Plus it is a direct bolt on if I am not mistaken. I am sure he will share any info you may need on the matter.
I'm considering buying the speed bleed valves before I decide to goo and hurt my bank account on parts.
thanks for your help brother
Oh, here's the link to the bleed valves, speedbleeder.com
