Default Backrest blues

decided to make a few changes last night. my wife recently decided she is done riding for now for personal reasons so I decided hey. its time for a change. now I will still continue to use my back rest on long days or out casually riding but just riding to work and around town and stuff id leave it off. think it looks a lot cleaner.

looking for opinions!

Does look cleaner, could you lose the pillion seat as well?

I could but im not sure I like the fender bib thing. I was just on another thread looking at some bikes with the bibs and I think im going to leave the pillion. it looks naked without it to me. I would like to have a studed pillion if I was going to change anything. it doesn't look as nice with my back rest on there but its a back saver on long days. if I ran apes on it I would lose my backrest all together though

Yeah, much better w/o the backrest but the bulky pillion still looks weird

And I am running a solo seat with rider back rest and fender bib...like the look and love the feel.
