the Fat Bob is definitely my favorite 2018 model.. it looks awesome in that flat white color.. I don't know.. is it me.. or does the Fat Bob look like an over-sized Sportster 48? LOL.. I love the looks of the Fat Bob.. da hell with the naysayers.. I love the headlight and the pipes.. wohoo!!
You are right, looks like a sportster on steroids. The short stance really works out well. The pipes and headlight work out way well in real life. Thought I was going to hate the "bronze" on the pipes but it all kind of works with the white and black.

Same here about the exhaust covers... I thought I was going to hate them and was already planning on pulling them to have them powder coated/painted... Then I saw the bike in Industrial Gray and they actually work in person. Put my deposit down on an Gray 114 that I should have next week.
see you got the only model with dual discs, prolly the best brakes in the new line!!! a 13 dyna i tested in 13 had a single, it took a very firm pull to stop!!!

Dual discs is one of the reasons I got the FB, although, my 1991 FXRs only had one front disc and so did the 2009 Xbones.
Me thinks stoppies will be feasible on the FB with the dual discs
Been in the market for a new bike for a couple of months now ... had done my research and was going to go for a Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber ... and then HD had to release the new line ... months of careful research and financial calculations out of the window ...
Went to the HD dealership near where I live, just to have a look see in case they would have the new line up already ... this being Belgium I figured I was reasonably safe since the official launch here is 30 September.
Well I was wrong, they had a white Fat Bob 114 I wouldn't mind owning on the floor accompanied by a black 107, a Breakout and a Road King Special.
Fate I guess ... Shouldn't have sat on it.
Now have to wait till first week of October as the paperwork isn't in yet.
Oh man... I had my money down on a 2018 Fat Boy in Black Tempest which was scheduled to arrive mid Sept. However, earlier today I got a call from my Harley dealer letting me know that a shipment of Fat Boys (no Blk Tempest) and Fat Bobs had just arrived, and that I could take them for a test ride. Well I just got back and pick up my 2018 Fat Bob 114 in Industrial Gray Denim tomorrow morning.
I was also the first person to buy a 2018 from the dealer and they have some sort of event planned for when I pick it up tomorrow at 10am.
