Has anyone installed these on a European Breakout? The international version of the insert comes with a additional cable to connect to the live as the running light, but Im not sure if you have to drill the housing or not??

I'm in Japan and have their 3 in 1 clusters in my stock rear signal housings, but had to drill into the housings for the additional wires from the tail and brake lights. The hole in the housings, however, are covered by the airfoil shaped stems that holds the housings. I don't know how everything would go together on your Breakout, tho...

 

I want the front driving lights/indicators which don't have the housing to hide the wires. I just don't fancy the look of a "STRAY" wire hanging out of the bullet housing.
