This is my first post here. I have a '08 Fatboy on order and it should be here sometime in Aug. Right now I'm planning and going with the V&H Big Shots Staggard along with a K&N air filter. Is this a wise choice? [sm=feedback.gif]

Nice Fatty Buckeye. I notice you have the reflectors on your forks but not on your fender struts (at least that is what I think they are called, new to this). How did you remove them?
hah good choice but tell the dealer u only want the chrome SE back plate and the other parts.. but not the SE air filter..instead ask for the K&N HD-0800 filter instead.. save you some headache.. and the chrome back plate will help if you ever switch out the football cover for something else.. and you wont have some cast fugly one lying around after u buy the chrome one to replace.. LIKE I DO...
Thanks Vertigo. Good advice. What is that you changed your football cover to? Like I mentioned I am fairly new to this, so I will probably have thousands of questions, and I think I have found the right place for my answers. My only problem will be to choose what I want.
not sure how he removed his reflectors but just removed mine yesterday, all i did was took fishing line and ran it behind the reflector, take some adhesive remover and spray onto any adhesive left over, let it sit for a couple minutes then it just wipes off with no problem
thats gonna be the longest wait of your life, having to wait on your harley...i'd say you'll have many sleepless nights waiting on it to get here...lol
well customryder, i've waited a good many years now for my first HD, but now the dealer has my downpayment, the wait is even harder. since i put the money down, not a night goes by that i don't think about the changes that i want to make. decisions... decisions... decisions....
