Default Wheels for deluxe

Looking to dress up my deluxe ride- however, really want to keep the white walls- so, I feel limited as to my choices. Have any of you all changed from the spoke wheels to something that looks good with the white walls? Thanx!

Laced wheels with powdercoated rims and hubs would look good. I've been thinking of some 5 spoke wheels like http://www.hogpro.com/imagebox.php?n...art-pic538.jpg

Call me crazy, but I don't think there is a rim out there that looks better with whitewalls than a spoked one

I have the OEM "Profile" on mine. The only thing whichMAY look better would be a set of 80 spokes?

Yeah, maybe a set of 60 or 80 spokes, depending on how "bling" you want to be.

Definately profile wheels for both spoked or billet.Looks like the chrome melted onto your tire.

Several folks on this board (Nikon, etc) are using 50 Spoke wheels. Great look for the deluxe.

The profile spoked wheels by HD are the best looking wheels made for white walls. They are very unique and the spokes are not too over the top in terms of size or quantity. No disrespect to anyone who has them but IMO the 80 spoke wheels are just too busy. The 16" profile wheels do not have the center hump like other spoke wheels out there and therefore the diameter of the wheel looks a little larger since the spokes are a little longer...a subtle but distinctive change that gives you the classic look of spokes but an updated look without going as radical as 18" wheels. This also makes them very easy to clean compared to other spoke wheels.

my personal faveroit is the 50 spoke fat daddy's from drag specialties purchased from M&M cycle. The spokes on the fifty spoke fat daddy"s are 3/8 inch thick a fine sturdy wheel

I went a totally different direction and went with Fatboy solids. I always get positive comments and even have a couple emulators. It's not for everyone but I like it.

Have fun finding your new wheels.
