Of the four Softail models (FBob, BO, HSC), & FBoy, with 114ci engine option, I wonder who makes final decision of what dealers get as far as engine sizes for the various color options...
Was out visiting local dealers here and most of the aformentioned models are 114ci...I was hoping to see the Fboy in Vivid Black but San Diego & El Cajon had a Black Tempest and Bonaville Pearl in 114...
Sales guy also mentioned that Harley Davidson is reducing overall production for MY 2018 down to 25% and advises, not to wait too long...I said, "neh"...been there done that, will wait until all hype is over...
And from HD's 2018 website it says these are the models and colors that come in 114ci...
"FBob

BO

Yesterday, the Sales Manager at my nearest dealership was telling me they're only shipping in small amounts, mostly black right now or the rusty red colors. Anniversary bikes are not released yet and they are only making 1200 across all bikes so they will probably get 1 Anniversary model each and they dont' know which one. All the dealers around here seem to have the same 18s in black.
