Default HogWorkz conversion brackets

has anyone purchased and used these? I just bought a pair so I could install my extended hardbags. holy **** these things were a pain in the ***! first of all they didn't match my deluxe very well (ordered specific for this bike) got a hold of Hogworkz customer service and they said "just bend them where you need them".....uh.....ok. Although I got them on (with some fighting) it seems they do not match on either side of the bike. the left bag seems a little "flared" out from the bottom rather than straight up and down. I spent hours trying to adjust the U-brackets to get them to match with little luck. Now that they are on I noticed that if the bag gets bumped enough the pin on the inside of the bag just pops off! Does anyone have any tips on how I can remedy this???

Can you post any pictures?
I am looking at hard bags & mounts for my Deluxe.
If you have pictures from the install it would be great.
see how they lined up.
It may or may not help with input.

Thanks

Sorry I didn't take any pictures of them while installing them.
