After riding about 150 miles the other day, on the last 5 miles my 2008 Night Train started puttering and backfiring, felt like it wasn't getting any fuel. I ended up coasting home at 5mph while slowly reving it up and popping the clutch to get momentum. After getting home i restarted the the engine, rolled up and down the driveway it was running fine. I thought the injector might of been plugged or something and it cleared it out.
the other night tried to go for a ride and didn't make it out the driveway.
The only code it's showing is PN 67033-08 for the Speedometer. Unless there's something else to it, the speedo looks to be running fine.
I changed the fuel lines, filter, and pump last year. Changed the O2 sensors a few months ago.
Bikes only got a stage 1 kit.
Anyone have this problem before?
Thanks
I know nothing about fuel infected Twinkies ,but is the speedo electronic ?
Have you changed anything recently , fuelled up somewhere new ?
The revs without load thing suggests a weak spark,it does rev normally without a load , like in neutral ?

Well, you said you fixed most what I was going to tell you to fix.. My Heritage did almost exactly the same thing and sounded a lot like yours about a month ago and it was the pressure regulator housing. The ears that hold it in place broke and the housing pushed off of the regulator, so there was very little fuel pressure. I guess it could have happened to you. The fuel pressure check is a quick thing for the dealer to do, so you could eliminate that one possibility easily..
