Something to think about. Bob told me he put this same cam in his new Bagger and actually lost torque down low after install. After some investigating, he has determined that Harley measures its numbers at max torque, not down low where most of us ride. He said the stock cam makes more power down low then the 447.
Interesting. I looked at the charts (which all show the torque cam outperforming the stock) and ... the charts don't start until 2500 RPM. I hadn't noticed that before, so yeah, Harley doesn't show what the performance is down low.
Very nice indeed! I'd happily take those results for my Stage 2.
Just to clarify.....
Stage II with the HD 447 Torque Cam kit
Stock Ventilator air filter (stock element in there or K&N?)
Bassani 2:1 pipe
Tuned with Powervision
No other engine mods?
I've got the stock head pipes on my 114" Fat Bob with the S&S slip ons. Will move to a 2:1 at some point in the future, but I am waiting for D&D to finish up their 2018 Softail pipes. I had their BobCat on my 2014 Fat Bob and loved it - so might get another one of those....
Congratulations - those curves look like a lot of fun!
Fantastic! Best I have heard yet. Other bassani RR3 videos I have heard on the 114 have just been some dude revving the sh*t out of it with no idle. Great work Putt! Loving those dyno numbers as well. You have one sexy beast there. Congrats!
That said, did I hear you correctly when you said that your bike was dropped on it's side while getting tuned?!?
What a beautiful bike. I had to go back several pages to follow how you ended up with the Red bike with Bassani pipes. I must have commented way back when you still had the Black and the SE Street Cannons. My 2018 Heritage is sitting waiting for parts and warmer weather.
