Rider backrest

I contacted the maker of the backrest today asking if the position of the backrest could be moved back. I was told yes it could be and he would let me know more in a few days. This is a person I am glad I bought from, he is pretty responsive to his customers.

so can I ask how your liking the back rest? Just installed docking kit for my sissybar last night. today was my first ride with out the rear seat and such on. Think I may be in the market for a riders back rest. didnt relize the rear seat did a decent job as a rest.

Received my Grasshopper backrest this morning. Installed it and took a 90 mile ride with it. The backrest moves a little in the receiving end of the mounted part. I am not annoyed by this as I move while riding so it moves with me.
This is a solo version. I locked it down slightly raised. I find it moves me forward just a little and I am ok with that also. The ride was very comfortable and I am happy with my purchase. Sure beats spending the money for a new seat and backrest.

Rode for over 100 miles today and found the stock seat on my 2017 Heritage to be very comfortable. I would like a backrest but I don't think I can add one to this seat, can I? I don't think the pan allows for any additions to the stock seat. Too bad as this is the first stock seat I actually liked.

Having had 2 back operations I needed the back support not butt support. The seat is fine for my butt, just not for my back.
