2018 M8 114 Breakout customized
By Thunderbike. Around the 2;40 mark they show their customized M8 114 Breakout in black. Looks great. Shorter front/rear fenders and the headlight casing has been modified. Great job by this outfit again. They do good work.
Presentation of the first Thunderbike Breakout 2018 complete conversion
At Late Summer Open House last Saturday, we already had a 2018 breakout complete conversion, in addition to the numerous Harley-Davidson series vehicles of the new model range. For this modification, the headlamp fairing specially developed by us for this model was used for the first time. Other modified Thunderbike parts, such as the rear fender steel with integrated LED brake and flashing light, the matching seat, the aluminum stretch tank, side license plate, flat riser kit, front fender and the LED mini-turn signals had to be modified by us.
Evolution has begun
Structural changes to the 2018 model pallet, especially the new Softail frame, inevitably lead to the revision of some Thunderbike parts. In the short period of time, since the delivery of the standard vehicles, we have already been able to modify more than half a dozen parts so that they can easily be installed on the 2018 models. Our newly developed headlight fairing for the Breakout 2K18 is also ready for series production shortly after small modifications of the prototype. All new parts can be pre-ordered from our store.
Less weight. More power. More adrenaline.
After extensive tests with the new Softail models we come to the conclusion that the driving behavior and above all the driving dynamics have improved. Not least thanks to the new Milwaukee-Eight 107 and 114 engines and the newly designed, stiffer and lighter frame, the new models offer enormous driving pleasure. A lot has also been done in terms of optics, some with bold but consistent new design elements. During the Open House preparations, we took a few quiet minutes to present the innovations and changes of the 2018 Harley-Davidson Softail models in a video.

I can't wait to see someone mod a Heritage. I have some ideas, but I'd want to make it reversible too as the stock config is awesome. But I could see it with an axle mounted hugger rear fender, solo seat, lowered shock.
