I've been checking in occasionally with my local Harley dealership wanting to see a new Lowrider, I really like the way the last one looked and was sort of thinking about adding a smaller bike to my garage; this or perhaps a Triumph T120. I finally saw a new 2018 yesterday and it was very disappointing. The paint was just okay (blue, which I usually love), but it's just paint. Usually when you see an HD paint job in person it screams quality but not this time. The handlebars are that really cheap looking polished steel look; not nice chrome and It really cheapens the overall look and quality appearance of the bike. That type bar was originally on my '09 Ulta but most of it is covered with the fairing so it's not that big of a deal. On an open cruiser like the LR I expected more. The 2017 looked so much better and I had high hopes for the '18. Since the whole line is now ride by wire I thought maybe cruise control would be available like it is on the Heritage, but it's not. Overall i found the bike to not look or feel very high quality considering the price, not something I really expect from Harley-Davidson.

Oddly the Fat Boy is one that once I saw it in person I liked it. I don't think I'd buy one as it doesn't fit what I'm looking for, but I really like the changes on that particular model.

Your '10 FB is gorgeous. I loved mine also, but (to each his own) I was blown away by the '18. Have a 114 coming in this color, but by the looks of the 107 I knew I was already in love...

I stopped by Battle Born HD a month ago, and they had only a two Softails there.
The only two models I wanted to check out were the LowRider, and the Heritage,
& they already sold. A Softail Slim 107 and a Breakout 114, was all they had there.
