Well when I was considering to go full Bobber with my Slim like this (pic 1), I did some sizing (cut a wood block to fit) with a Shorai battery model # LFX14A4-BS12. It would all fit in the battery box with room to spare. But I have decided to keep my current config (pic 2)

I have done it to my bike and it is not that hard. You can move the ecu behind the rock guard without extending any wires. You can also lower your fuses by removing the bracket and pushing it down a bit.

Also the picture you have posted looks like the guy went cheap and used a purse of leather to cover the battery which is fine but he used white zip ties

I ended up changing things back and going with a yuasa battery YTX15L-BS. And moving my ecu on top from there I was able to fit my seat pan.

Sorry to bring this up. I’m wondering what’s the width of the fender in your picture? I’m looking to narrow down my fender too
